What is the word frequency effect?

the mental representation of a class or individual and categories of objects, events, and abstract ideas.
what is a category?
Includes all possible examples of a particular concept
What is categorization?
The process by which things are placed in categories.
What are the 3 approaches to categorization?
- Behavioural approach
- Network approach
- Physiological approach
What is the definitional approach to categorization?
An approach in which we can decide whether something is a member of a category by determining whether a particular object meets the definition of the category.
