Session

The senate is referred to as this, because all of its seats are never up for election at the same time.

The people back home that senators and representatives are representing while they serve in Congress
Constituents
The redistribution of seats in the House of Representatives every ten years after each census
Reapportion
Name for when a session of Congress begins
Convene
When Congress temporarily suspends business
Recess
Term for when the President can end or discontinue a session of Congress
Prorogue
