What is Free-for-Service (FFS) Reimbursement?
When physicians and other providers are paid by government programs and insurance companies.
What is Bundled Payment Reimbursement?
A single payment for all services associated with an episode of care, such as an inpatient hospital admission.
What is Capitation Reimbursement?
The provider is paid “per patient per month” fee regardless of whatever health care services the patient uses or not.
What is Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) Reimbursement?
The patient will be into groups that consume the same intensity of resources, medically related, require similar treatments etc.
