This is a pathway where the signal is sent away from the control center
Efferent pathway
A feedback loop that reverses a change in stimulus
Negative feedback
A feedback loop that reinforces a change in stimulus
Positive feedback
Differentiate disease and disorder
Diseases is the term used for illnesses that are characterized by signs and symptoms; Disorder is the term used for an abnormality of a structure or function
Differentiate symptoms and signs
Symptoms are subjective and cannot be seen by and observer; Signs can be observed and measured
