Biosphere

Ecosystem
A community plus the physical environment

An individual; complex individuals containing organ sysems.
Organ System
Composed of several organs working together

The structural and functional unit of all living organisms.
Molecule
Union of two or more atoms of the same or different elements.
Atom
Smallest unit of an element; composed of electrons, protons and neutrons.
Food
The capacity to complete work, food provides energy to humans and animals and helps maintain the organization of the cell and organism itself.
Metabolism
The chemical reactions that occur within a cell.
Photosynthesis
Produces organic molecules, such as sugars, that serve as the basis of the food chain for many other organism, including humans and other animals.
