Iconoclasm
Iconoclasm is the deliberate destruction within a culture of the culture’s own religious icons and other symbols or monuments, usually for religious or political motives. I.E. Vered away from natural images because they wanted them to seem devine.

A chapel radiating from one of the bays or divisions of the apse.

an architectural element located within the arch or pediment. I.E. religious figures sculptures.
