COAC Co-operation, trying to get along with people and working together for the good of the community.
Sometimes this means have to sacrifice and be willing to compromise. Hard work. All members must co-operate. Everyone must pull together and lend a hand
COAC Communication, sharing and discussing ideas with others.
All relationships need communication to work. Do not communicate = do not know how others in the community are feeling. Sharing ideas throughout communication helps to grow and improve.
COAC Sharing, giving something to others
May need to share time, knowledge and talents. If you share = community can reach full potential. If everyone shares, everyone takes part in what is happening
Roles in the community, a part that someone plays in a community
Everyone must have different roles to get things done. Everyone’s role is important as a whole. Take on roles according to gifts or talents. Good leader, leadership role. No matter what role, everyone has one to play. Must carry out role to run smoothly
Description community breakdown, when a community collapses due to lack of communication, co-operation and sharing
Sometimes there’s tension or stress. Not always easy. Needs and wants of individual clash with what is better. Sacrifice what we want for the good. If members forget about the characteristics, it leads to community breakdown. As a result, people feel hurt and let down. May take a lot of hard work to get back on track.
