  1. Psychological
    - emotional= biases
    -perceptual= experience
    selectivity= flow of information
  2. Semantic- choice of words
  3. Language- dialects, accents, slangs, jargons
  4. Physical- noise disruption, physical surroundings,
    environment
  5. Cultural- different cultural background, beliefs and values.

Leadership roles

A
  1. Autocratic- directs and controls all activities without involving any parties when making decisions.
  2. Paternalistic- employees are listened to, but the leader always make the final decision
  3. Democratic- the leader serves as a mediator and facilitator, they involve everyone when making their final decision
  4. Laissez-faire- very little guidance and provide complete freedom for their employees to make decisions.
