What is inference

A

Spot on! Inference is the process of drawing a conclusion from available information or evidence. It’s essentially taking what you know and logically deducing something new from it. This process is a fundamental aspect of reasoning and problem-solving.

For example, if you see dark clouds in the sky, you might infer that it’s going to rain soon. You’re using your knowledge of weather patterns to draw a conclusion.
