Why do we begin our study of world history with the book of Genesis?

The most important part of a culture is how people relate to God.

The story that man was not created by God but instead “evolved” from the animals.
What is humanism?
Humanism is putting man in place of or above God.
Who is Cain?
Cain was one of the first two sons of Adam and Eve. Cain killed his brother Abel.

Abel was one of the first two sons of Adam and Eve.
Who is Lamech?
Lamech was a descendant of Cain. He bragged openly of killing a man who had wounded him and a boy who had merely struck him.
