‘Aunts’ ‘Angels - links to theocracy - Irony that they are utilising weapons - maternal (protectors) - propaganda for safety or in the name as religion - nuns are called sisters - twisted version of religion

‘Could not talk’ - modal verb dystopia constant state of fear -independent thought stripped
‘Like children’s’ (flannelette sheets) - infantilisation -choices stripped, everything done for them (dystopia)
‘Neatly’ - adverb - regimen - perfect society - all the same identity
