Steps of Chapman’s Point Treatment
- Locate Chapman’s point
- Firm pressure with finger pad of one finger
- Apply somewhat heavy pressure to gangliform mass
- Slowly move tip of finger in circular direction (To flatten mass)
- Continue moving pressure 10-30 seconds, alternate clockwise/counterclockwise
- Cease when mass disappears or pt/physician can no longer tolerate treatment
