It began in England then dispersed to other Europeans countries
during the late 1700’s -1800’s
it started with a series of innovations that made labor more effective
productions went from being made in small shops to large factories
The cause was agricultural revolution due to the increase in food production
Transitions were :
-from hand production to machines
-increase in use of steam power
-the rise of factory system

started in the 1870’s
It included a change in the way items were manufactured
As well as an adoption of pre-existing technological systems. ex: telegraph and railroad
