What is arbitration?
An independent arbitrator is appointed to mediate any issues which can help solve issues. The decision is legally binding
What is ACAS and what does it do?
ACAS-(Advisory, conciliation and arbitration service)
If a stalemate is reached between employers and employees, ACAS can be called to help. It is not legally binding but can help to move an issue forward using trained negotiators
