Props- full forward
Attitude- sufficient to stop descent rate
Airspeed- as required (Vx or Vy)
Flaps- approach
Establish positive rate of climb
Gear - up
Flaps - up
17
Q

How long must ITT be stabilized prior to engine shutdown

A

1 minute

18
Q

How many static wicks are required

A

5, 1 on rudder, 1 on outboard ends of each elevator, 1 on each outboard ends of the ailerons

19
Q

Prop rpm range for overspeed governor check

A

1830 to 1910 rpm

20
Q

Minimum flight deck oxygen pressure

A

500 psi

21
Q

Reserve fuel requirements

A

10 percent or 45 minutes of flight at endurance (10K) whichever is greater

22
Q

How often should a flight fuel log be kept

A

Every flight a fuel log should be prepared on cross checked with actual fuel consumption for every flight

23
Q

Takeoff power must be applied ___ to obtain the normal takeoff distances from performance charts

A

Prior to releasing brakes

24
Q

When is cruise checklist performed

A

Extended cruise operation, not normally below 10,000 ft or in pilot training environment

25
Q

Overspeed governor and rudder boost engine runup procedure

A

Power levers idle, props full forward
Prop Gov - TEST
Increase power on left engine until prop rpm stabilizes at 1830-1910 rpm then advance power until rudder displaces left.
Power lever idle and repeat on right engine

26
Q

Primary governor engine runup procedure

A

Props full forward
Set 1800 rpm using power levers
Retard props to detent and check 1600-1640 rpm

27
Q

Pressurization test engine runup procedure

A

Props full forward set 70% N1 on power levers
Turn off bleed air and note associated warning lights
Set pressure controller 500 ft below field elevation and rate knob to max
Hold cabin press switch to TEST
Open left bleed air valve, note 12-20 psi pneumatic pressure, bleed air warning extinguish, and decrease in cabin rate
Close left bleed air valve and repeat on the right
Reset cabin to 500 above field elevation, rate knob to 10 o’clock, and bleed air valves to enviro off

28
Q

Auto feather/ auto ignition engine runup procedure

A

Props full forward
Autoignition ON
Power levers set 25% torque
Hold AUTOFEATER to TEST and not both annunciator lights
Retard to left power lever to 18+/-2: opposite autofeather extinguishes and same side ignitor light illuminates
Retart left power lever to 11 +/-2: both autofeather lights extinguish and prop begins to feather
Repeat on right power lever
After both power levers are checked retard both to IDLE, both autofeather lights will extinguish and autoignition lights illuminate
Release test switch and turn autoignitors OFF

29
Q

Prop manual feather engine runup procedure

A

Power levers idle and props full forward
Manually feather both propellers
Note that N1 does not decrease by more than 1 percent
