Route MORA or Grid MORA

What is the coverage of a route MORA?
A
- 10nm either side of an airway
- 10nm radius at the end of an airway
- 1000ft from obstacles and terrain or 2000ft above mountainous terrain

What is the coverage of a grid MORA? lateral and vertical?
A
- a block of 1˚ Latitude and 1˚ longitude
- 1000ft above obstacles or terrain when it is below 5000ft AMSL
- 2000ft above obstacles or terrain when it is above 5001ft AMSL

A
Minimum Obstruction clearance altitude

What is the safety height?
A
Safe height based on Jeppesen Grid MORA for an area 50nm either side of track and 50nm arc at the end of the sector
