Ch3L7L8 Linear Equation-System of Equation Flashcards

1
Q

Two or more equations with the same set of variables are called a System of Equations. For example:

y =4x

and

y = 2x+2

together are a system of equations.

A

When you draw lines for every equation in the same System of Equations on the same coordinate plane, the ordered pair for the point of intersection is the solution of the system because this Ordered Pair satisfies both equations.
