acute pain
pain that is sharp or severe; felt suddenly from injury, disease, trauma, or surgery
chronic pain
pain that continues for a long time (longer than 12 weeks) occurs off and on, or is persistant (constant)
comfort
a state of well being; the person has no physical or emotional pain and is calm and at ease
discomfort/pain
to ache, hurt, or be sore; discomfort
insomnia
a chronic condition in which the person cannot sleep or stay asleep all night
