What is the difference between Hostility and Physical Aggression?

A

1) Hostility - Also called verbal aggression, is an emotion expressed through verbal abuse, lack of corporation, violation of rules or norms, or threatening behavior.
2) Physical Aggression - Behavior in which a person attacks or injures another person or that involves destruction of property.

A

1) Triggering Phase - An event or circumstance in the environment initiates the client’s response, which is often anger or hostility.
2) Escalation Phase - Period where the c,kent builds toward loss of control.
3) Crisis Phase - When the client becomes physically aggressive.
4) Recovery Phase - Client regains control.
5) Post-Crisis Phase - Client is removed from restraint or seclusion as soon as he or she meets behavioral criteria.
