The faith each Christian has allows us to recognize Gods offer of love through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It is an invitation to live a life of God. Our response to the invitation is our Christian moral life. The challenge to living a moral life is determining what God is calling someone to be and do, and how to use the gift given my God in the way he wants someone to use it.

The goal of ethics is to develop moral standards which we can use to respond to moral challenges faced in life.
