Selective attention is when conscious awareness processes only a smart part of all we experience.
Divided attention
the ability to focus on multiple tasks or stimuli simultaneously.
Inattentional blindness v. change blindness
Refers to the inability to see an object or a person in one’s midst.
Change blindness is a form of inattentional blindness in which people do not notice changes in the visual scene
Describe the circadian rhythm.
The body’s biological clock that includes sleep and wakefulness
What are some factors that affect the circadian rhythm?
A factor that can affect the circadian rhythm is artificial light.
