Q

What is a work breakdown structure?

A

The WBS breaks down a project down to manageable pieces. It is a hierarchical tree or an indentured list of end items that will be accomplished. The graphic structure subdivides the project into smaller princes called work items. The lowest-level item of any one branch is called a work package. An end product is the item that will be produced as a result of carrying out the project.
