Adptionism
view that Jesus lived as an ordinary man until his baptism, then God “adopted” him as his Son and have him supernatural powers. Jesus does not have a divine nature.

Belief system that denies the full deity of the Son. Deny that FSHS are each fully God.

Denying that God is 3 persons. One person that appears to us in 3 forms.
Modalistic Monarchianism
Says that God revealed himself in different “modes” and that says that there is only one supreme ruler in the universe and that is God himself, who consists of 1 person.

Ontological Equality but Economic Subordination
Of the Trinity… equal in being, but subordinate in role. There are no differences in deity, attributes, or essential nature b/w the FSHS. Each person is fully God and has all the attributes of God. The only distinctions b/w the members of the Trinity are in the ways they relate to each other and to creation.
Sabellianism
Another name for modalism .
Subordinationism
held that the Son was eternal and divine, but still not equal to the Father in being or attributes, the Son was inferior in being to God the Father.
Trinity
God eternally exists as 3 persons, Father, Son & Holy Spirit, and each person is fully God, and there is one God.
Tritheism
Belief in 3 distinct gods.
