What is a demolition plan?
Plan to demo all partitions, doors, power/comm.
What is the architectural partition plan?
Indicates type and placement of all new and existing partitions. Door # referenced to door schedule
What is a power and communication plan?
Indicates location, height, orientation of all new and existing outlets to remain.
What is a reflected ceiling plan?
Shows ceiling treatment, ceiling grid, hvac diffuser, sprinkler heads, light fixtures and switches
What are millwork and special constructions sheets.
All special architectural construction items
What are addenda
Revisions to drawings and specs or bidding instructions before bid due dates
What are change orders?
Changes after construction contract has been awarded. Extends time frames and increases cost.
What are as built drawings
Phase 5 - converted from construction drawings to document. Reflects various changes that occurred during construction.
What is the intention of drawings?
Show location, size and shape of all building components. Where they are placed and connected.
What are specifications?
Verbal descriptions of material, quality and testing procedures.
Why is proper coordination of drawings important?
