Secondary Drive
Those that are conditioned and learned
Optimal Arousal

If under aroused we become bored, but if over aroused may feel stressed and overwhelmed

Focused on autonomy, competence, and relatedness within social groups
To enhance motivation, goals should be ____ and ______
