Environmental Science

Natural Resources
is a resource that can be replaced relatively quickly by natural processes.
Law of Supply and Demand
states that the greater the demand for a limited supply of something, the more that product is worth
Ecology
is the study of how living things interact with each other and with their nonliving environment.
Agriculture
the practice of growing, breeding, and caring for plants and animals that are used for food, clothing, housing, transportation, and other purposes
Pollution
undesired change in the air, water, or soil that adversely affects the health, survival, or activates of humans or other organisms
Biodiversity
refers to the number and variety of species that live in an area
Ecological Foot-Print
shows the productive area of Earth needed to support one person in a particular country
Sustainability
is the condition in which human needs are met in such a way that a human population can survive indefinitely at a standard of living similar to the current one
