Galantamine (treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s Disease and memory impairments particularly of vascular origin. It is a synthetic alkaloid with acetylcholinesterase inhibiting properties).
Memantine (blocks NMDA receptors - modest effect in moderate to severe Alzheimer’s and dementia with Lewy bodies).
