How does a Plant Cell differ from an Animal Cell?

A
  • Plant Cells have JUST 70s Ribosomes and NO 80s
  • Cell Wall present- provides protection and support
  • Larger Vacuole accounting for 90% of Cell Volume
  • Chloroplast present- Flattened sacs called Thylakoids that are stacked into Grana and contain Chlorophyll in which the process of Photosynthesis occurs.
  • No Centriole usually
