A
Idiopathic
Rheumatological - RA, SLE, ankylosing spondylitis
Occupational - asbestosis
Infectious - aspergillosis, TB
Drugs - amiodarone, methotrexate, nitrofurantoin

How is pulmonary fibrosis defined?
A
The end-stage of many pulmonary diseases
The lungs become fibrosed and lack elasticity and compliance
Can be localised or affect whole lung
Prognosis ranges from 20-80% 5YSR and depends on type
