What is chemical warfare?
Use of chemical agents intended to kill, seriously injure, or incapacitate personnel.
Describe nerve agents.
Liquid agents that disrupt nerve impulses causing damage to body functions.
Describe blister agents.
Liquid or solid agents used to cause inflammation, blisters, and destruction of tissues that cause blindness or death.
Describe blood agents.
Gas agents that attack enzymes in blood stream. Causes rapid breathing or choking.
Describe choking agents.
Gas or liquid agents that cause tears, dry throat, nausea, vomiting, headache. Feeling of drowning, causes rapid/shallow breathing.

Detects liquid chemical agents.

Occurs higher than 100,000 feet
Describe air burst.
Fireball does not reach the surface.
Describe surface burst.
Worst fallout because fireball touches the surface, and results in massive fallout.
