A

The new Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain believed that the best way to avoid another war was to follow policy of appeasement towards Hitler. This meant deciding to give them most of what they want to keep them happy. You hope that they will be satisfied and will stop making you more demands.

The Munich agreement was an agreement made between Chamberlain and Hitler stating that Germany could have the Sudetenland as long as Hitler would stop demanding more territory.
