A
- central disc prolapse (L4/4 or L5/S1)
- tumors
- infection
- trauma
- haematoma

clinical presentation of CES
A
- low back pain
- bilateral sciatica
- reduced sensation or pins and needles in perianal area
- decrease anal tone
- urinary dysfunction (incontinence- indicates irreversible damage)
