what is psoriatic arthropathy?
A
- inflammatory arthritis with psoriasis
- seronegative spondyloarthropathies

Presentation of PA?
A
- symmetric polyarthritis (very similar to RA)
- asymmetrical oligoarthritis (affects hand and feet)
- sacroilitis
- DIP joint disease
- arthritis mutilans (severe deformity fingers/ hand, telescoping fingers)
- psoriatic skin lesions
- tenosynovitis (flexor of hands)
- dactylics (diffuse swelling of finger or toe)
- Pitting
- onycholysis

Investigation for PA?
A
Xray
- pencil in cup appearance
- periostitis

Management of PA?
A
- just NSAID with mild manifestation
- monoclonal antibodies (ustekinumab and secukinumab)
- apremilast
has better prognosis than RA
