A

dilation of the artery to more than 1.5 times its original size
abdominal pulsations, abdominal pain and back pain, pain/numbness in
the lower limbs (nerve root compression), hoarse voice (dilation stretching
the left recurrent laryngeal nerve), No symptoms

Lumbar Spinal Stenosis

A

Compression of the spinal cord and exiting nerves
Due to stenotic (narrow) vertebral foramen in one or several lumbar
vertebrae
Can be treated surgically sometimes via decompressive laminectomy

A

Right sided psoas sign (lower abdominal pain from hip flexion)
*b/c as the iliopsoas contracts, it meets the inflamed appendix, producing
pain.

Lower abdominal pain from flexion of the thigh at the hip. Indicates
irritation to the iliopsoas group of muscle
