if 3 or more of the following are present:
BP >130/85
Serum HDL Cholesterol >1.04 (male) or >1.29 (female)
Serum Triglyceride >1.69
Fasting Glucose >6.1
Waist Circumference >102cm (male) or >88cm (female)
What are the most problematic anti-psychotics in causing obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome?
Clozapine

Which drugs are most likely to cause hyperprolactinaemia?
Amisulpride

What are the features of hyperprolactinaemia?
Galactorrhea. Menstrual irregularities. Sexual dysfunction. Osteoporosis. Increased risk breast cancer. Serum Prolactin levels should be checked if any pt reports such symptoms.
What is the only psychological therapy not shown to aid in schizophrenia?
Individual psychodynamic therapy
