Q

EGKK outbound - who do you call to ask for it to be transferred to you? How do you request further climb prior to the boundary and what are the RFT conditions?

A

You ring TC WELIN to ask for it to be transferred.

You would send a pointout to S26 and request coordinated climb with them - take into account any EGBB inbounds/EGGD/EGFF flights and overflights.

EGKK departures are RFT to the right on contact regardless of heading, only released for left turns if coordinated, the traffic is north of the southern edge of the Westcott corridor and within lateral confines of the airspace or if south of the southern edge of the Westcott corridor then aircraft has passed above FL230. Released for left turns if not on a heading.
