How does GTN help ACS patients?
A
Used for rapid alleviation of angina. Causes dilation of the venuels (reducing preload) and arterioles (reducing afterload). This dilation improves blood flow through the heart and to the tissues.

A
Help lower the amount of LDL cholesterol in the blood

A
Stops the platelets from being sticky - stops the clotting so blood can flow.
