What histopathologic finding would you expect to find on a cardiac biopsy?

A

Dx is rheumatic fever post-strep.

Histopathology: interstitial fibrosis w/ lymphocytes and macrophages and multinucleate giant cells (green arrow), as well as Aschoff bodies (circled).
