cardiac Flashcards
left vs right heart failure
left- most common cause of left congested heart failure is MI (signs and symptoms are pulmonary edema and shortness of breath SOB)
right- the most common cause of right congested heart failure is left sided failure (signs and symptoms are pedal edema and Jugular vein distention JVD)
atherosclerosis
complicates blood flow in the blood vessels. plaque buildup.
MONA
morphine, oxygen, nitrogen, aspirin
EMTs can give Oxygen and Aspirin
ACS
