What is Photosynthesis
Plant use sunlight and CO2 to make their own food
We then eat these plants as Carbohydrates
What is Carbohyrates made up of?

Oxygen
these elements combine to form imple sugars (e.g. Glucose)
Simple Sugar Unit
Combine together to form long stains of starch
during digestion, the starch is broken down into simple sugars again to be used by the body
Classification of Carbohydrate
Sugar (sweets, cakes)
