- PU/PD, polyphagia, weight loss

- Metabolic consequence of reduced insulin
- Osmotic effects of glucose

- Hyperglycaemia and glucosuria

Treatment
A
- Insulin (injection - usually BID)
- Consistent diet, consistent exercise
