Gallbladder cancer staging
A
T1a - invades lamina propria
1b - invades muscular layer
2a - periadventia on peritoneal side but not through serosa
b - on liver side
3 - invades into liver or through serosa into adjacent structure - duodenum, stomach, colon, CBD, omentum
4- invades major vasculature or x2 organs
N 1 - 1-3 node
2 - >3 nodes
Simple cholecystectomy for T1a, otherwise need liver resection + lymphadenectomy.
