Cell Cycle in Cancer

A

Mother creates and abnormal daughter cell. That abnormal daughter cell does not die off bc it does not pay attention to the hormones so it continues to replicate spreading the cancer

Q

Grades of Cancer. Why is it difficult to treat?

A

How atypical the mutation is. So its the difference between the normal cell and the abnormal cell. If the daughter cell doesn’t look anything like mother cell then it has a higher grading. Since the tumor has different cells, not one treatment can work for all.
