Take Off
Callout/ actions
1 set T/O power
- takeoff power set
2 Airspeed Alive
- heels on floor
3 80kts
- crosscheck
- panel is clear
- Pressure good (fuel and oil)
V1
- remove hand from power levers
Positive rate - Gear Up
- wait for a positive rate indication
V2
Aircraft Acceptance Flow
J-box
Check all circuit breakers
Landing Gear uplock release
- flat against floor
Pip Pin
- ensure pin is installed
- ensure valve is in proper position toward right
02 mask
- plug in
- test breathing
- arm mask
Left ess bus tie
- check normal on
Essential bus transfer switches
- all to left
Circuit breakers
- all in
Left avionics bus aux master
- check off
More circuit breakers
- all in
Cabin pressure selector
- check Auto - unless MELed
- manual control knob all the way clockwise
Ignitions
- check auto
Start test
- switch centered
Speed switches
- auto
Nose wheel steering
- off
Battery volts
- check left and right
Unfeather test switch
- centered
Delta p/ps
- check both in norm unless MELed
Engine start flow call outs
- guard applicable engine stop and feather
- clear flat and capped
• engine start button
- press and hold
• Make call outs as appropriate
- 10 %
- fuel flow
- ignition
- light off
• release engine start button, move left hand down to guard engine stop button
- 60 % rollback
• move left hand to power lever
- EGT rollback occurs
- pull power lever to ground idle
Call Outs
- RPM and EGT stabilized
- Fuel and Oil Pressures checked
Bleed air valve
- open on applicable side
Boost pump
- on
Generator reset, check voltage and on
(Unless doing a GPU start then leave Gen off)
Wait for generator amps to drop below 150 (120 or 100 if you have time) before starting other engine, if doing a cross gen start.
Repeat steps 1-10 for other engine then signal to remove GPU it reset other Gen, check voltage and turn on
