MUST file report immediately by phone and within 2 days by writing if: injury inflicted by firearm, assualtive/abusive injury including name, whereabouts, character of injuries, person alleged
DOES NOT apply to psych or physical conditions from voluntary narcotic or drug use
Person reporting crime free of civil liability and not allowed to be fired for reporting
Misdemeanor violation of reporting results in 6 mo jail of fine 1,000

<18 years old including sexual abuse, assault, negligent (does not include due to religious reason)
Severe Neglect: severe malnutrition, failure to thrive
General Neglect: failure to provide food, clothing, etc. while under supervision where NO physical injury as occurred
Willful cruelty or injustifiable punishment: unjustifiable physical pain or mental suffering causing endangerment
Unlawful corporal punishment: cruel corporal injury
Abuse/neglect Out-of-home: inflicted by person outside of home
Child abuse/neglect: physical injury inflicted by other than accidental means not including fighting between minors or necessary force by police
PT mandated reporter to law enforcement agencies
