Describe California Zinfandel?
It is a red grape which has a tendency to ripen unevenly, harvested fruit can include ripen and unripen fruits.
Raisinning can result in concentrated, full-bodied red wines with high alcohol. Flavours include red and black fruits, dried berries and liquorice. Underripe grapes can have herbaceous aromas.
Describe the white zinfandel.
White zinfandel is made from early-picked grapes, it is a rose wine. It is pale in colour, medium-sweet and low in alcohol.
