What happens when the ENG FIRE switch is pressed?
A
Fuel SOV closes, IP and HP bleed-air SOVs close, hydraulic SOVs close, generator is selected offline, FADEC commands engine shutwodn, both fire bottles arm to the respective engine side.

A
By detecting a drop in resistance caused by an overheat condition

Which areas have a fire extinguishing system?
A
APU, left engine and right engine

When required, can both fire extingusher containers (bottles) be discharged into the APU?
A
No. Only bottle # 2 can be discharged into the APU compartment
