Diagnosis of Stable angina Pectoris
CLinical based of Si/Sx and risk factors
Confirm Diagnosis of CAD
Stress test or angiographu
Angina Acute Tx
Sublingual Nitro- Max dose 3 xs in 15 mins w/ 5 min interval. If not relief INFARCT
Angina tx chronic prevention
Isordil Long acting Nitrate- Prophylaxis
BB- dec Myocardial O2 consmption in stress
ASA- block PLT aggregation
Quite smoking
Drop LDL, Inc HDL w Diet, PA, Inc Fiber, Lose Weight
Endovascular Intervention for Angina
PTCA-
Morbidity <Sx but has 50% restonosis rate
Plt GP2B-3A antagonist further reduce restonosis
SX for angina tx
CABG- only if 3 vessel dz or 2 vessels in DM
