Engine Problem/Failure during TAKEOFF
- Throttle - Idle
- Brakes - AS REQUIRED
- Flaps - UP
- Mixture - IDLE CUTOFF
- Ignition - OFF
- Master switch - OFF
Engine Problem/Failure During FLIGHT (Checklist Procedure)
1.Airspeed - 65 KIAS FLAPS UP
2. Carb heat - ON
3. Mixture - FULL
4. Throttle - FULL
5. Fuel Valve - BOTH
6. Primer - IN & LOCKED
7. Ignition - BOTH/START
Emergency Landing (Securing)
- Airspeed - 65 KIAS FLAPS UP / 60 KIAS FLAPS DOWN
- Mixture - IDLE CUTOFF
- Fuel Valve - OFF
- Ignition switch - OFF
- Flaps - AS REQUIRED
- Master Switch - OFF
- Doors - OPEN (before touchdown)
- Touchdown - TAIL LOW
- Brakes - APPLY HEAVILY
ENGINE Fire In Flight
- Mixture - IDLE CUTOFF
- Throttle - MAX POWER
- Fuel Selector - OFF
- Master switch - OFF
- Cabin heat - OFF
- Airspeed - 100 KIAS
- CONTINUE WITH EP LANDING CHECKLIST
ELECTRICAL Fire in Flight
- Master switch - OFF
- All switches - OFF
- Cabin air/vents - CLOSED
- USE FIRE EXTINGUISHER
- Vents - OPEN
If electrical power is needed - Master switch - ON
- Circuit breakers - CHECK DO NOT RESET
- Radios - ON
- All other switches - ON (one by one to isolate short circuit)
Over voltage Light ON
- Master switch - OFF
- Master switch - ON
- Lights - OFF
- TERMINATE FLIGHT
Ammeter Discharge
- Alternator - OFF
- Electrical load - REDUCE
- TERMINATE FLIGHT
Power ON Stalls
Clearing turns
Airspeed - 55kts
Altitude - 3,000agl/3,500msl
Reference points - straight
Setup - 1,500rpm to slow, CB heat on, Mixture rich, flaps up
2,000rpm climb to stall

Full power, CB heat off
