Engine fire during start

  1. IGNITION SWITCH – START

if engine starts:

  1. throttle – 1700 RPM for a few minutes
  2. engine – GO TO secure engineif engine fails to start:
  3. THROTTLE – FULL
  4. MIXTURE – IDLE CUTOFF
  5. IGNITION SWITCH – START FOR 10 SECONDS
    c. checklists
    Secure engine:
  6. Master switch – off
  7. Ignition switch – off
  8. Fuel shutoff – off
  9. Fire - extinguish, if possible
  10. Fire damage – maintenance to inspect
